Like many things in life, my skin is fickle. As soon as I even start to think that things are under control, it likes to prove me wrong in its classic red, angry and sore fashion. Be it my acne or the patches of eczema on my forearm, nothing keeps it under control for long. That is, nothing except rosehip oil. I went through an entire bottle of the stuff last year, but forgot about it, favouring flashier so-called miracle products. I can't think of another product, however, that works so well as an overnight treatment for my skin. Any inflammation is quickly reduced, spots are considerable calmer and my skin feels generally more balanced, especially when paired with a hydrating serum. Even my eczema, which is triggered by a potent mix of disinfectants at work and stress, looks and feels better after one or two uses. Quite how this magic takes place, I'm not entirely sure, but the results are unique.
